Took the new CW380 out for the first time and shot 50 rounds of PMC FMJ to start breaking it in. The pistol ran flawlessly, no FTF, jams or misfeeds. I noticed though the gun was extremely dirty after just 50 rounds. Is this the PMC ammo or do they just run dirty ? Anyone suggest another brand ammo to use for practice that may not be so dirty ?
Thanks
that's the brand I used for break in, (cheapest i could find) and it was pretty nasty stuff. so after 200 rounds of it it was pretty caked up.
I rather enjoy cleaning my guns though so I didn't mind.
it wasnt near as dirty with the precision one defense rounds I ran through it, so I think the PMC is just a bit dirty.
For a while .380 ammo was pretty much unavailable and $$ when found. I just shot what ever I found unless it was over $30/box for practice ammo. Seldom shot over 30-40 rounds at one time and cleaned after each time. I would agree defense ammo is much cleaner and some ammo is dirtier than others. Lawman FMJ seems to run clean.

Seems to me that WWB is a fairly clean ammo. Admittedly I only fire 30-40 at a time but
when I wipe the bore afterwards its pretty clean. I don't field strip it ever time and clean
the insides. Haven't had any particular probs with the CW389.
