Ok, so I was really negligent and lazy, and haven't cleaned my gun in probably 3 range sessions, at least 6 months. I usually hear about dirty guns giving function issues, but I don't think it caused any function problems. I did have some issues with some cheap ZQI ammo I got from Walmart. It was long OAL, which caused a few failure to feeds, and it seemed to have hard primers(although that could be crud in the striker channel). I had to do double strikes with several. It had no trouble with the Federal or Blazer ammo I put through it.
The biggest concern, though, is both my wife and I were all over the place with it, if it hadn't been a 2'x3' five bull target, we wouldn't even have been on the paper. Neither of us are crack shots, but we did MUCH better with the M&P we had rented. So can a dirty gun be inaccurate?
