Hey guys, I am looking for some information and ideas on a set of new sights for my cw45. The Kahr online store offers Trijicon night sights for $80, Williams Firesights in two different colors for $50, and a few others. I just want to see if anybody has used these sights or if you have any other recommendations. Any bit would help me out thanx.

I stuck with the standard sights. In a gun fight I probably won't get a chance to used them. Bad things happen up close and quickly. I'm a point and shoot kinda guy.

Sights are just like holsters, what works well for one person doesn't for another.
It's tough to make a decision without seeing them in person. I like the 24/7 standard dot or Big Dot, really stands out.
I just put a brass bead on the front of my 1911 and I like it as much or maybe even more.
Both you mention are good brands with many loyal fans, weather they will work for you? Only you'll know for sure.
Not much help am I?

I've tried a lot of different sight combinations on a lot of different pistols and I shoot the Kahr Trijicons better than any of them. But I agree with the Colonel...you gotta try them for yourself. I think it has a lot to do with the gun too. For example: Revolvers just point natural for me and all I need is a front FO. But the same combo on a pistol doesn't seem to work as well for me. Go figure.

I hear what you guys are saying. But it would be kind of spendy to try different sights, unless I knew someone with them. Do the Williams Firesights even fit the CW45?

I get the $$$ concern but there really isn't a shortcut unless you try other people's pistols. Most of us have tried both methods: buying sights and borrowing pistols. Check the Williams website BTW.

I replaced the front sight on my CW45 with the Trijicon offered through Kahr and feel that it is all I need. I like it alot and highly recommend. I wasn't necessarily looking for night sights - I just didn't like that the original was pinned on vinyl.
