Does anyone make aftermarket safety levers for the P9 ? Seems the Kahr ones seem awkward

Do you need the safety for a state requirement? I have carried, most of the time, a P9 for over 10 years, always in a holster that covers the trigger guard. Never thought about a safety. I carried 1911's more often than not before the P9. Oh what a relief it is!

No but Ma.has a 10 lbs. trigger rule but if it has external safety you can have 7 lbs. I own a great holster that covers the trigger.

Why do we put up with these people? I live in Nevada. I hope someday we can all live with reasonable laws, not stupid rules that apply only to people that follow the law anyway. My P9's trigger is between 5.5 and 6.0 on my scale. Does that mean a P9 is not legal in MA? Good luck in the hunt for a manual safety. Sounds like the Sig P938 was designed for your situation. Mine is 7.5 lbs with a manual safety. The 7.5 lbs is the reason I am selling it, besides favoring my new CM9 for pocket carry. Good luck.

No mines legal in Ma. Because it HAS an external safety. I was wondering if there is an aftermarket one made. I find the stock one to be awkward to engage
