Good to see the detail. I'd love to see that same gun in all stainless. I wonder what the MSRP will be on those babies?

It's nice, but it isn't a carry gun and that's what brought me to Kahr.

Definitely a full-sized target gun. I'd like to see it in all stainless finished in black. MSRP for the basic gun? My guess $1400. I suppose it could be a carry gun but not very concealable.

Wow. That was impressive.

I suspect Gen2 reflects exactly what interests Justin M at this point. Kahr could dominate the lucrative pocket 380 market. Those patents give it a corner on the best gun for the money. I'd focus on expanding production , qc, marketing and bury the competition.

But I'm not a young entrepreneur with an engineering background and a passion for shooting. You gotta do what moves you, and this thing has all the earmarks of a labor of love. Good for him. I hope its wildly successful.

Looks promising. A reversible mag catch and a Glock trigger. No doubt due to the shortened trigger stroke. Curious to see how short it really is weather the glock trigger is really needed.

Interesting. Kahr is moving into an area they have little to NO marketing expertise based upon past weaponry produced. They are IMHO stepping into a niche they did not create and will have to run hard to catch up. Good Luck to them in this endeavor but frankly I already have weapons in that genre that frankly Kahr cannot beat. Just my 2 cents.

^ Pretty much my thoughts. Now chasing, like some others, methinks. Much different than creating to fill an untapped demand. Wish them well but I'm not going there.

If they kept the old trigger and gave it a short reset I'd be all over it. The other features not so much.

I hope they incorporate the enhance trigger into their regular models.

It looks like there are at least a 9mm and a .45. The second video is for the TP45 and the TP9 is in all the photos.

thank you! all Kahr needs to do is take another ounce and $50 off of the CM9. how about an 8 shot, 12oz. revolver in 9mm?
tons of target and race guns out there, why bother?

Thanks for sharing this news, I had not heard it. No one has mentioned the capability for integral optics on the Gen 2. This is a real plus for those of us who struggle with iron sights as we age. I've got it and like it on a S&W M&P Pro CORE. But it is not a $1400 gun like the guestimate above (< $700 w/o optics). The Kahr promo also lists night site options that so far are only very limited available after market with the S&W. I don't compete and don't only use it for target shooting but also open carry it with me bowhunting. I also see a lot of guys on the S&W Forum just getting it on a full size M&P to get a good sight picture and have fun at the range.

I don't know … might be more appeal here and a niche for these than you think if it is priced right. After Smith came out with the CORE, the prediction was that every full sized gun manufacturer would follow suit with optics integrated capability.

Agreed. I have shot a Glock with a holosight and love it. Did not like the $1600 price so I did not buy it. A few LEO agencies are allowing holosight pistols. In a couple of decades I predict they will be common place. There is a certain ex-con gun guru in the desert SW that claims he invented red dot sights on semi-autos. His is lying as some of us remember the old C-More Holo Sight that was used on IPSC before this so called ex-con even thought about them.

Longitude Zero, I was just over on the Glock site and see that they also announced their optics ready handgun called Modular Optic System (MOS). So it is coming, per our discussion above.

Groo here
Ohio allows 45acp for deer now.
The new Kahr TP45 Gen 2 5in would make a great ,light, sneek and shoot pistol.

I set my wife up a m&p core , 540 bucks localy and a trijicon rm05g from a amazon supplier for 425. Darn that thang is fun and accurate. So kahrs gona have to get there priceing right. My problem is I don't want to be tied to one brand optic so hope they have some kind of adaptor plates like m&p.

I carried my wifes CORE for a month just to see how it worked out . The trijicon I ordered is the dual -illumination model , has both fiber optic and trijicon dot . Its always on with no battery and that my old eyes like greatly. I could carry a 5" version . See how it goes and what the price is.
