Who would buy a 38super kahr built of the wider 45 platform? That would be my next to buy for sport or carry.

Maybe if enough show interest kahr would build it.

Not something I'd care about on a current Kahr platform. Too many cartridges better suited to short/shorter action, small defense carry weapons imo.

I don't think it is well suited to a compact, carry pistol...Just MHO...

Had a couple of .38 Super 1911 Colts back in the day. Nice guns and accurate, and reliable with a bit of work. Always considered them niche target guns, tho, and since that wasn't my real focus I eventually sold them.

.357 sig should be fairly easy in the .40 frame, and it was designed for shorter barrels.

10mm in a Kahr sized platform would be a nasty/brutal brute to fire. You better hit with your first shot because follow up shots are a no way Jose proposition.

I think a PM45 frame/slide with .38Super innards would be outstanding.

38super is a natural on a 45 frame . Little larger frame for a better grip and control and in a new trigger design that would lend it self to single stack match fun and make major power .

Get on kahrs face book site and ask too .

38 Super can be a mixed bag. With some pistols the cartridge headspaces on the case mouth (bad) and others on the case rim (good). The erratic nature of the bad headspacing along with the fact it is a tapered and not straight walled case helped to "orphan" the caliber. I would love to see a reasonably priced double stack 1911.

I got a reply from dave " say'n " it would be passed along to the engineers . So go to facebook and ask for 38 super and maybe we will have the option .
