Just picked up a used pm9 today. The guy i got it from said it was a couple of years old. When i got home i checked the serial number and it's accualy a 2003 model. I was wanting a newer one but i don't have much experience with the pm9. Is a newer model much different than the older models? Should i keep it or sell it and find me a newer model?

If it's one of the snubnosed models, I'd keep it.

No. There have been slight design changes, but those are mostly cosmetic due to simplification of the machining process.

I have a newer one and would be happy to trade with you. Does that say enough about the value of your gun to decide if you want to keep it?

Thanks for the info guys. I didn't know if it is difficult to get parts for the older model if needed. I read somewhere that Kahr no longer makes the old style barrell and the new style doesn't fit the old style.
