Completed my Form 1 today

We'll see how long it takes to get it back. I did an eForm, so I'm hoping right around 30 days.

For those wondering what a Form 1 is, it's my permission from the ATF to build a Short barreled rifle. I have an AR lower that will be getting topped with an 11.5" barreled upper. After I save up some coinage, I'll follow up the short barrel with a silencer.

Once I get my form back, and get the lower engraved, I'll slap her together and snap some pics. Now I have to figure out what to do with my time until I get the form back....Catch and Keep season in Missouri Trout Parks start March 1st, so really I just need to kill a couple weeks.

I have seen Form 1's approved in 3-4 weeks and I have seen it take many months. The bummer is another Form 1 for the suppressor. SBR's put out MUCH more bang than standard length rifles. So a suppressor is really necessary.
