I forgot my login for the bersa forum and those folks are typically not too helpful anyway so here goes. My ccw is a bersa thunder cc 380. Very low round count and well maintained, never dropped or abused. So anyway I just noticed a very unsightly little gouge underneath the trigger bar in the frame. I have no doubt that it was always there but what gives. The pistol was brand new when I got it box still sealed in plastic. It's very small maybe like the size of this small e. Am I being overly concerned? This crap just drives me nuts.

It pays to examine a gun very closely before the purchase is made. Now that you bought it you own it.

My wife's first gun purchase was a bersa thunder ultra compact 9 and what i noticed was that the bersa was not quite as refined as some other guns. Even that being the case though the trigger smoothed out nice though and it shoots well. Plus they do have a lifetime warranty. If its only cosmetic and the gun functions well i wouldn't worry about it. Its a carry piece and not for display anyway. Wife was shooting hers from behind cover one time and put a big ding on it against a brick wall. It really bugged me but not her and it was her gun so i just figured "oh well..."

Stuff happens to guns that are carried. If this is your biggest worry - then life is good.

When I had my Bersa Thunder I did not have the situation you have, but the trigger bar would rub against the bottom of the slide and put a gouge in it. There are several warrenty places to call for info. Since I'm in Arkansas I called Reynerson's in Baton Rouge. tel: 225-261-4860 and these people were more than happy to talk to me an give me info I didn't even ask for so I could enjoy shooting and maintaning it. Thy are listed on the Bersa.com site under warrenty.

I would do be to concerned about concedering we can see any photos . IT a great little tool far better than most all little wathers for function. Clean the packing grease from it lube it and go shoot it . In the family there s CC models and a 15 shoot double stack thunder . All real good shooting tools .
Good thang you down work in vehicles , ocd is heck on a person and ever one around them .

Gene, I wouldn't worry about one twit. Having said that, if it bothers you that much sell it and buy another. That's one of the bennies that comes with being a great movie star. By the way, I used to skydive when I was younger, and I liked you in Gypsy Moths. Ok, tongue out now.
