Hey folks my name is Michael and last night I ordered my first Kahr pistol a CT9093. I hope it lives up to my expectations. I am not a gun snob so I own a number of manufacturers firearms. My hands on favorite above all is the CZ firearms. I also own M&Ps, Rugers, Bersas, Taurus just for a start, I also love my shotguns and long guns. Right now I am trying to figure out the site and finding it very hard to find IWB and OWB holsters even though I understand that if it fits a TP, it will fit the CT, now all you have to do is find holsters that fit a TP. Apparently Kahr is not a very popular firearm in quantity and popularity which is what draws the holster makers and after market sight makers. Now I have to figure out how to set an avatar and a signature. Looking forward to interacting with you all.
many thanks,
Michael

Welcome Michael. There are plenty of holster makers here and somebody here has not doubt tried them all. We even have some members that are holster makers that pop in from time to time. I'm sure others will be along shortly with some suggestions.

We have a 30 post introductory period that sort of mess's you up for some stuff. Like posting pictures, avatars and stuff.

Not sure if it effects the signature or not, been awhile since I done that stuff.

Welcome. You should enjoy the large Kahr. Several holsters are available. I have a Mitch Rosen Premier, labeled for a K9, that hold the longer barrel as well and the open muzzle JIT Slide works.

Very nice, are both Mitch Rosen holsters? I want IWB and OWB, I prefer leather. Not a Kydex guy particularly.

Hey Michael, welcome to the club. I too own a variety (spice of life) of firearms. My favorite, pound for pound, dollar for dollar, is the Makarov. I have a CM9 and have carried t for several months now. Kahr's are quality firearms. I don't think they are for beginners. If you treat them right from the box, they will work well for you. You should be able to find a good supply of accessories.

As for the avatar, you need to build up posts (100, I think) before you get to do that.

So far today has been frustrating. Trying to find holsters for a CT or a TP9 is like looking for a needle in a haystack. All of my guns have a Pachmayer tactical grip glove that I have always got off of Amazon for $10 no shipping. It is a new model for Pachmayer a # 05163 for the Kahr CT or TP9 and others. To buy from Pachmayer with shipping is $20, that won't happen. I have never had this much trouble finding what I need for a pistol. Kahr is shutdown due to weather. I am not a Kydex fan so no interest in it. Still nothing there either. I am a leather kind of guy. Will probably get a n82tactical Original Tuckable for IWB, then the search for the OWB. You never know you have that on. Going to take a break from it until the gun gets here. I appreciate it Scarywoody.

Kydex turns me off a bit too. The top holster is Mitch Rosen. The bottom is a Don Hume JIT Slide No. 40K9 which will hold any 9mm steel or polymer Kahr 9mm and maybe a .40 as well, IDK.

I don't us IWB holsters so I can't help you there.

Bulldog Cases makes a simple OWB slide that will work for most any semi-auto. I use it until I find a custom holster for whatever new gun joined the family. Google them. I got mine at Cabelas for less than $20. Get the medium or small.

I think everyone needs a couple of "fits anything" holters.
