View Full Version : Pocket holster for CW380???

I'm looking for a good pocket holster for my CW380. I've done a little bit of research and I'm think either the DeSantis Nemesis or the Super Fly. I've had a Super Fly back when I bought my first gun which was a Sig 290. I have no first hand experience with the Nemesis or any other pocket holster. For me the Super Fly was a little bulky. But idk if it was due to the holster or the fact that the 290 was bulky and heavy. Does anyone have any experience with a CW380 and these holsters?

I had a Nemesis for a Beretta Bobcat, and it was okay, but often came out of the pocket with the pistol. On a whim I bought one of these in black:

$30 + $5 shipping, took about 3 weeks to get.
At first I did not care for the extra stitching and leather on the slide side, but it has grown on me. Makes it stay upright in my pocket.

I have Nemises for my CM9 and my P380. They're OK. My EDC rig is my P380 in an Uncle Georges back pocket holster.

I have the Nemesis for my PM9 and a Sticky Holster for the CW380. Both work fine for pocket but find the Sticky preferable for IWB which is my preferred method. Just my $.02 worth

I use a Nemesis for my P3AT. It does add some thickness that you'll not get if you with Kydex (I use a Kydex holster for my PM9 and prefer it to the Nemesis). Staying in the pocket has not been an issue for me because I always start my draw while pushing off with my middle finger.

I firmly believe in the importance of having a smooth clean draw from your holster. I believe your draw should be near if not at the top of your SD practice/training. I'm not an expert but can speak from experience on these points.

Mine always rides in a Kydex one made by jbowe12 from eBay. It's a great holster and not expensive. I have the Nemesis too, but I prefer the lighter feel of the Kydex.

I really like like the look of that holster. Is it comfortable though? Does the holster come out of the pocket ever, whether from the retension or the kydex being smooth?

Lot of good choices out there. My personal favorite is the one sided recluse. Pricey but perfect for me.

Well I decided to take the plunge and ordered one of those kydex pocket holsters off eBay. I can't wait to try it out.

Sorry, didn't see your questions until now. It's comfortable to me. I don't like carrying IWB. I've tried and just can't get used to it. This at least keeps me carrying. The hook grabs the edge of my pocket nicely and allows an easy draw leaving the holster behind. Besides, for $25, you're not out much for trying it. I've blown more than 4x that on holsters I ended up not liking (Crossbreed, I'm looking at you)!

Yeah its ok man. I figured for $25, what's to lose. Plus it looks pretty cool, I purchased the carbon fiber one.

I actually love the Crossbreed holster. I bought one for my CW45 and have one for my Glock 19. I was actually thinking about buying one for this gun but don't want to spend the money on it right now.

I've been using a Nemesis for about 4 years, for my MK................................it's basically molded to my leg. The firearm always comes out clean, and I get a good grip on it. I like em..............I believe that a P290 is probably a bit large for pants pocket carry.

I use the Nemesis for pocket carry for my PM9 and CW380 and others. If I am going to wear a belt holster, it's going to be for a lot more gun than a CW380.

Yeah the P290 was a little heavy for the front pocket. Idk the exact weight of the P290 but I might as well have carried a Glock 19 and had more rounds.

The MK, by no means, is a light firearm either, but I have adjusted to the weight.

Well I got my new kydex holster today in the mail. I purchased it off of eBay from jbowe12. So far I really like it and for $25 plus free shipping you can't beat it.
