Hello from Austin, Texas. Purchased a CM9 through Buds and picked up at my FFL on Saturday. Sunday I did a detailed cleaning by following the break in instructions here in the tech section and the user manual. Today I went to the range and put 200 rounds of Winchester 115gr FMJ down range without a single hiccup. Took quite a will with only one mag. I DID NOT experience any of the break-in challenges I've read so much about. Not a single FTF, magzine issue, chambered great by either racking the slide or using the slide release, nada, zip....perfect operation. After running through all the FMJ I ran some 135gr Hydra-Shoks and again the pistol ran flawless. My accuracy at 7yds was pretty good although I wasn't really trying too hard on the vast majority of rounds. When I took my time and concentrated I pretty much hit where I aimed. I'm not used to a long trigger pull so that will take some familiarization on my part. Overall I'm extremely happy with my purchase. Now for accessories!

Welcome to the forum and I'm glad to hear you had a good first range trip. It's always good to see a positive range post and not one filled with problems and malfunctions.

Congrats on your new CM9. I'm sure glad to hear of no problems on your first trip. I have sometimes felt guilty because mine has been so flawless. 2500 rounds and counting. Very attached to mine. It is my constant companion. Welcome to the club.
