A few that I had recently aquired and had to zero. Hadn't got around to it cause I had eye surgeries off and on for gluacoma & other eye problems. Can see well enough to punch paper now. So, I had them out.
Got this one in a swap. Guy said it cost too much to shoot it. It's a Century Arms gun put together with H&K G3 parts on a U.S. receiver. It worked perfectly fine, but accuracy was only @ 3" at 100 yds. Trigger was selective, converted to semi only. So, I could not expect the better trigger that I had on an original 91 I had back n the 80s. Also, the number of rounds thru the barrel is unkown and I was using the Tula steel case FMJs from Wally World. Probably not the best ammo of accuracy. The good commercial stuff is just too much. The gun has a 3X9X40 cheapo Simmons on it. Don't expect to use it much, mostly plinking.

A Remmy 700 ADL, poly & black. Got it cheap off a guy at a show for a bill and a half cause "he couldn't hit anything with it." It's a .243. Not normal for a .243, so I looked for the obvious. Scope bases bere loose. Set them right and put a good Nikon 3X9x40 on it. It cut 3/8" at 100 yds with my handloads of a Hornady 87 gr. BTHP and a "normal" charge of IMR 4831 for factory ballistics. No hot rooding loads for me anymore. CCI large rifle primers. If I ever see well enough to hunt again, I will be using this one. The poly stock will take a beating too and still look good.

Another Remmy 700 ADL in .243. Got this ohe off a guy going into a gunshow to sell it. He wanted 4, I offered 3 and he declined. Same Story, " I put a new scope on it and it shoots all over the place." I wanted it bad cause I had one like it and sold it during hard times to pay for eye surgeries. Well, he wandered with it for a while and came back to me and gave it up. The problem was obvious, even ot a blind guy. The 40mm front objective was hitting the barrel, not great for accuracy. Well, I took the new green camo scope off and put a 3X9X32 Simmons on it. Did 3/4" groups at 100 yds with the same handload I used int he other one. Rem 100 gr. factory stuff shoots to the same POA as my handloads. Worked for me. Gun probably wont be used. It was pretty much like new, so it's more for looking at.

A couple of .22s I had not zeroed either. One is the Mossy 715T carbine. Wife and kids got it for me a year ago for my bithday and I couldn't see well enough to shoot it. Took the irons off and put a 3X9X40 Simmns on it. Accurate and functions perfectly with Fed bluk pack. Killed a couple of 4' rattlesnakes with it on my patio. It's the top gun.
The bottom one is a like new Phillipine/Armscor M1600 from back in the late 80s. Got it off a guy at a gunshow back in Dec, "cause I fired it one time and it locked up. Then I threw it in the closet and forgot about it." Bolt was locked up halfway open. He only wanted 50 bucks and apparetnly no one else wanted it. So, I got it for 20. It was like new. All it took was to remove the trigger stop pin and get the bolt past the disconnector which was locked up. A little lube and it worked fine. Feeds any crap .22 ammo ya put in it. This one may get swapped or something. took the carry handle and iron riear off and put an old Weaver 4X on it. ItIts a great shooter, but I just got too many .22s. Bottom gun.

A Wincester Mod 72A bolt gun, tube mag, shoots all 3 S,L,LR. This was 1 of 4 guns I got off an old guy at a hunting camp. They were camp loaners. The others were "Bubbba-fied" military rifles. Promptly moved those and kept this one. Gave 250 for the bunch and got more than that for the other 3. This one is worth keeping. It's not like new, but has some wear. Biggest problem is that it doesn't have a scope rail and I ain't drilling it for one. So, I guess it will just get shot by the kids, irons sights only.

Last one of toay is a Mossy "Plinkster" .22 I got at the last show. It is like new. Got itin a 2 for 1 gun swap with a guy at a show. He threw it in cause he did not have 50 bucks boot I wanted to do the swap. Well, he had buyer's/swapper's remorse and wanted to swwap guns back. Told him I still wanted some boot for that. Still broke, he said to keep the rifle and just swap handguns back. Well, I could live with that. So, the Plinkster was pretty much free. Worked great. Put a tiny 4X15 scope on it so I could use it, but it will probably get swapped or something. The innards are pretty much like the Mossy 715T, but only 10 rounds nstead of 25. Again, too many .22s.
