Anyone AIWB their PM/CM? If so, what's your experience with doing so and what holster do you use?

I think it's the most comfortable way to IWB carry................because of comfort issues, I can't IWB any other way. I use a High Noon tuckable Centerfold. Even good riding in a car, no pokes, no stabs, don't have to take it off.

I use a Remora holster at about 11:00. And tilt the muzzle towards the outside of my leg.

It's just never worked for me but I'm glad it does for others.

I've never tried it. I do regular IWB. I have some kind of phobia about where the muzzle is pointed for appendix carry.

Appreciate the replies so far.

Starting last night I started carrying my PM45 AIWB in a Remora made for my PM9, and it's actually surprisingly comfortable. Wore it all day today; ran some errands and whatnot. I ordered an Archangel from Dale Fricke on an impulse... we'll see if it's a winner.

I carry AIWB about 1:00 in a cheap nylon holster I got for free with an Armslist purchase. I love it because it's very soft and pliable. I'm a cheapskate at heart.

I carry my CM9 in a PJ Holster AIWB holster. It's so comfortable that I have to check every now and then to make sure it's still there. Yep, it is. The gun I mean. :)

If I'm not pocket carrying I'm AIWB carrying. Usually with a Remora holster if I head out the door that way. I'll sometimes just move the gun with my pocket holster to that carry position... For instance when I'm going to be seated for awhile and want easier access to my pistol.

Had to order some stuff on EPay so while I was at it ordered a cheap ($12.99) nylon Outbags OB-02S holster. Didn't expect much. Best IWB holster I've ever used! Carry at 11:00 walking, sitting and driving. Forget it's there. Easy to aim away from anything I might need. (might). Probably the same one as RevRay has.

One of the biggest advantages of appendix carry carry is that you don't have to worry about printing. Even if you do print you might receive admiring glances. :)

Actually, being fat helps to keep me from printing cause my shirts just hang out over everything.

I carry my CM9 in a Galco Soft Tuck at about 1 o'clock. Very comfortable and quick.

I can't for the life of me appendex carry. It just doesn't feel right. I feel better IWB, OWB or pocket carrying.

Really, the more I do with the Remora the more impressed I am. It's really fantastic. We'll see if I need that Archangel or not once it arrives...

I also use the Remora holster for appendix carry of the PM9. As long as the trigger is well covered Im not concerned.

I'd rather carry owb at 3:00, but concealment is an issue. I've carried in the Kidney position, and if I bend over wrong, the pistol grip sticks up enough to show. Carrying at 11:00 seems to work out well for me. I have IWB holsters for my CM45 and CW40. At 11:00 I can tilt the barrel towards the outside of my leg, away from Richard and the twins. Or I can do the same thing with appendix carry, only the pistol grip sticks up a little higher than I like. That might be better for quicker access to my weapon. Either way, I can throw on an un-tucked shirt and be covered fine.

Ditto. Kudos to those who can, but I'm a 15:00-18:00 kind of guy.

So long as the trigger is covered there's nothing to fear...

Got my Dale Fricke Arch Angel today and man is it sweet! Conceals incredibly well. Only part I don't like - make that hate - are the belt loop snaps. I swear I've never run into two more difficult pieces of **** in my young life. Either they'll somehow "loosen up" or I'm returning this thing because it honest to God took me 15 minutes to snap this **** thing.

Pics soon to come, only have a quick minute. After a day I can say all in all the holster works well, and is noticeably more comfortable and conceals better than using a regular Remora in the same capacity. Is it worth $95? If you lack an AIWB, I'd say definitely. I don't have another to compare it to, so that's the best I can offer. I'm keeping mine.

I figured out the stupid snaps. Basically you have to set them in place and lean into a flat surface (like the edge of your nightstand, which is what I do) to get them to set. It takes most of my 175 pounds to do it, and isn't as much of a PITA as it sounds like... but still, minus one star for BS.

If you have a gut (I have a small one) that's going to impact you here. I can't conceal using a t-shirt or plain polo, and I'm not exactly morbidly obese at 175. He has an expansion kit of some kind that supposedly helps bring in the butt closer, but I don't have it so I can't comment. After I drop about 10 pounds, we'll see if that helps.
