Meprolight vs Trijicon sights on PM 45

I just bought a PM 45. I'm looking to put night sights on it. I have Trijicons on my other Kahrs, (P380 & CM9). I'm trying to decide between the Mepros and the Trijicons. The cost is the same. I'm curious if one is taller than the other.

Any thoughts or opinions?

I have Trijicon's on a couple of my pistols. I like the fit and finish a bit better than the Meprolights but that's subjective. You can't go wrong with either. Just make sure they are new manufacture for maximum glow life.

I've owned both but not on Kahrs. Like Scarywoody said both are quality sights. Last 3 sets I've purchased were Trijicon.

I have 2 PM45s. One with Trijicons and the other with Mepros. My P380 has Trijicons and my PM9 has Mepros. The black oxide finish is worn off both Trijicons and the white ring around the viles is gone. the dot is smaller than the Mepros and they sit lower than the Mepros. The Mepro site picture is better in daylight and at nite. I also have Trijicons on my XD.

So just looking at them I prefer the Mepros. Thing is in use I'm a better shot with the Trijicons. Can't hit squat with the Mepros. The point-of-aim is that much different. So Trijicons it is.

IMHO the Mepros are easier to pick up. They are a bit larger and the white outline is better for daylight. I have Trijicons on my CW45 and Mepros on a Glock 23. I've also had XS Big Dots on a Glock 36. They are dot-the-I like most Kahr factory sight configurations. The XS Big Dots are great for quick sight aquisition, day or night.

That's how I see them. Tritium is tritium - no difference there in low light, but I can see the Mepros easier in normal daylight.

Good pic Ripley. To me the trijicons are more precise ===> more accurate (for me). I can see it in your picture too.
