I had my doubts about this pistol before going to the range today. I previously owned a CW40 and a PM9 both of which broke and would not fire. I never sent the guns in, I just traded them and took a big hit financially on something else. I really lost the confidence I had in the brand. I thought I would give it another shot and purchased the CW 380 over the Glock 42. The Glock was so much bigger to pocket carry it just didn't make sense to me. I could just as easily pocket carry my Sig p290rs. Well with reservation I shot the Kahr today and am pleased to inform that the little pistol perform flawlessly!!! I shot 70 rounds of Underwood ammo with the XTP bullet and it performed as it should and locked back on the last round every time. I was very careful not to put my thumb forward as to touch the slide release. I just moved it away from the frame and it locked back every time. I bet this is why guys are having issues. Underwood does run a little hotter than most rounds and maybe that's why my little pistol performed so well. Very happy after today's results, I was expecting the worst.
