Was at a gun store today and they had a used P380 w/ 2 mags for $350. They are also selling the new CW380 for $350. I have read about the P380's having problems and was wondering if the problems have been straightened out and if there was a group of them that had problems, is the a way of identifying those guns (possibly by serial number)?

Thanks

You have to wonder why the previous owner traded it in. Was it because he was having issues with it? I was faced with the same decision and decided to buy the used P380 with a 30 day return from my LGS if it didn't work. On my second range session, I had several light strikes using different ammo. I brought it back to the store but had them return it to Kahr to see if they could do anything about it. It took a month to get it back but Kahr went through it, replaced whatever it needed, and even replaced my 2 mags. Since getting it back, it was worked flawlessly and I now trust this gun and love it! If I were you, I would make sure you have the opportunity to get your money back ( or return it for something else) if it doesn't work

Buy both. That way you can work with them and see for sure which you like better. They'll probably also give you a bit of a price break by getting both, but even at the asking price you won't lose much selling one in a couple of months.

Only problem is you might like them both too much to sell one. That's what happened to me.
