I never leave home without my PM9; whether its on my ankle or appendix carried with shorts. My new CW45 with bronze slide was going to be its replacement for days I wanted a larger caliber (hiking, camping, going downtown http://www.ar15.com/images/smilies/icon_smile_big.gif ). But the grip stuck out just enough for me to stay conscious of it with every movement. After about 2 months of thinking it over and close to half a case of various ammo down range with out a single issue... I decided to chop my CW45 Bronze to accept PM45 mags. An hours work with a dremel, benchtop sander, and wet sandpaper was all that was needed. I couldn't be happier with it.

And it shoots great with my 10rd Wilson 1911 mags...

I like the bronze work. Cerakote? Also, the Wilson Mag, do all CW functions work and did you make any changes to accommodate the different mag?

Nice work! Does that mag seat good and flush?

I only ask because my PM9 does not and it annoys me. I wonder if someone can leave extra meat on the handle doing a covert and avoid that.

I like it. The grip length is my only beef with my flawless CW45. That looks perfect.

The burnt bronze slide is a factory cerakote. I guess Kahr had a special run of these made for the CW line. I'm sure there are plenty still available.

I didn't do any mods on any of my Wilson mags and they work great (locks in slide back/forward, feeds well, locks slide back, drops free). I should also say my Kimber TacPros worked great with them too. I did have trouble with some CMC mags and some various other brands, but even those would only need just a quick dremel job to the lips to fix.

I sanded down the grip right to where the PM45 mag sit flush and functioned, and proceeded to sand about half 1mm further just to ensure proper seating.
