Well, this one has returned. I had it for a short while last spring. Old guy I swap guns with traded me some clunkers for it. He said he used it a bit during hunting season and decided it was too heavy. He has a custom Mauser in the same cal. and thought it might make a good companion gun. Well, he didn't like theheavy barrel. So, he brought it back to me and told me to do something with it at the gunshow, or he would be willing to swap it for the Beretta .32 that I recently got. I am still seating him for the Browning 1910 .380, but he keeps trying other stuff. Not like the gun isn't worith it, but I got the thing for practically nothing the first time. So, why give up a classic pistola for it, right?

I'm gonna shoot it a bit and take it to the show. See what I can get for it. Old guy hopes I will get either take it, swap it, or sell it and give him the Beretta. He dumped this one and another one on me trying to work me now.

It's suppose to be sunny and clear on Thursday, so I will try to get out with it if the wife don't take me shopping. Gun is still like new. Don't think he even fired it cuase he changed the scope and said he had been working on the other gun he brought with it. Got 7-08 dies for another gun alreday too. Decisions, decisions?

Did get to put a few frounds through the CVA. Had to resized some .308 brass to load some useable ammo. And I only had enough powder to load 5 rounds. I didn't want to use my good brass and factory ammo from my Winchester Featherweight model 70 in 7-08. Well, it worked well enough to check zero. It was still prettyclose and I got to "Walk it on" at 100 yds.

Almost forgot the Ruger 10/22 he left with me over a month ago. Won't swap the Beretta .32 even for thisone. Gotta get at least a bill boot along with it. It looks pretty good, but I know he redid it from and finish worn, rusty barreled beater he got at a pawn shop back in the fall. Still like new inside.

Haven't had a chance to call the old guy on the swap for the beretta .32 yet. Wife had me out shopping on Friday.
