I'm new to the forum I've had my CW9 for many years now but I want to modify it and I can't seem to find anything for the CW9? Can someone please help me find stuff to use. Or maybe educate me if there's maybe interchangeable with another kahr? Thank you for the help!

Welcome. The only mod I have made to any of my Kahrs is to add a Hogue hand-all and tritium sights to my P9 Covert.

I swapped out to night sights. P9 slide stop and p9 guide rod. #5lb wolff striker spring. Also polished my barrel to a nice shine. Polished all the internals to a mirror finish.

None of it is necessary but if you like to tinker with your guns I do understand. I'm wanting to swap out my sights again for XS big dots and possibly have some cerkote work done.

So by the looks of it nothing crazy can be done? Thanks for the help guys.

Why do you want to modify it?

You could Ceracoat it, or do something with the grip.

If you are looking for parts away from Kahr itself try https://www.gunpartscorp.com . You have to search for Kahr. Some people choose to upgrade the slide stop to a milled versus the MIM one. The CW9 is pretty good to go as is.

I bought this wrap from ebay for like $12 shipped and it worked out better then I thought it would after you heat it up then it forms to the gun prefect..

I really like the feel now as it grips so much better..

The front sight on the CM9 is made of polymer. The after marker replacement sights are made of steer and require a single screw that installs through the slide from the under side. When you remove the original sight you'll find two holes drilled in the top of the slide. One is for a locating pin on the sight and the other is for the screw.
