Awesome wife (of almost 30 years) got diagnosed with two breast cancers Saturday. Very strong woman with very strong faith. 51 years old. She's taking it pretty tough. She's a nurse. I'm a surgeon. We get it. Seeking prayers for strength and a cure.

I lost my mom to breast cancer at the age of 58. I lost my youngest brother at the age of 43 to lymphoma. My MIL has been battling cancer for the last four years plus.

My prayers are definitely sent your way. Best advice I can give you is stay strong for your wife. If she ever feels like giving up, that is where you come in.

Best wishes and good thoughts to the both of you.

We lost our DIL to breast cancer two years ago. She passed away on the morning of her 39th birthday, leaving behind my son and their two little boys. Singing "Happy Birthday" while cutting her (unseen by her) cake afterwards was the saddest moment of my life. I think about her every day and how it could have been avoided if she had sought medical consultation & treatment as soon as her lump appeared.

I'll be praying for you and especially your wife. Jesus is the healer but as you know you as a surgeon are often His hands extended. Those who minister to your wife are the same. My sister in law and my supervisor at work both are recent breast cancer survivors. I pray for the same outcome for your wife.

Prayers sent up. I've been studying natural cures for cancer for a couple of years now, many seem to work better than the traditional, radiation, chemo, or surgery. I have a new book on the way with a new protocol for Breast Cancer that they say works better than anything traditional medicine has to offer. Remember when Ronald Reagan had Colon Cancer, they turned to a German Doctor and natural plants and herbs to cure him without any of the traditional methods. PM me if you are interested. If you are a doctor, you probably know Big Pharma is more interested in protecting their profits than in curing cancer. They are not about to kill one of their biggest cash cows.

Tman, my DIL thought she could do the same. She was a vegan aroma therapist who believed in holistic methods. Unfortunately she did not seek a medical doctor's help until her lump was suppurating (advanced Stage 4), and by then it was too late. Even then her friends had to do a group "intervention" to persuade her to go to an oncologist. Surgery & chemo just delayed her death by a few months.

My heartfelt prayers are with you. My wife was diagnosed with Lupus about a year ago, 40% kidney function left. I can relate to seeing the love of your life battle a seemingly unbeatable, horrible malady. She too is a real trooper. It seems the ones with the affliction is stronger than us without an immediate problem. God bless!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Breast cancer has touched my family, my cousin and my Mom. I give thanks for the different gifts given to us to help one another. I also take comfort in the fact that the Lord is with each of us and stays with us in our times of need. Amen.

Prayers sent Doc, for you and the wife. May you both be strong for each other for the upcoming battle.

That you asked for prayer shows you already know the strongest medicine for the human spirit.

God Bless
