I'm going to buy a used sr22 tomorrow. Am just hoping it doesn't have issues. It comes with a laser and 2 mags. Price is 290. So I'm going to buy it. This is the post. Hopefully It doesn't have issues and is a good deal.

My wife has one, also. Not a bad little pistol. Doesn't work well with some of the cheaper, low quality 22 ammo that has been available around here currently, but works well with CCI and other quality stuff. Take down is easy, (unlike some other Rugers). I do like my Ruger 22/45 much, much better.

I'm thinking that having some issues with a pistol that does not get carried could be a good thing. Yet I can readily understand why you'd want one, even if just a range gun, 100% reliable.

I got it and it works good but the laser was missing a screw so the company is sending me a replacement.

I'm a fan of .22 for plinking. IMHO a Ruger single revolver or a MarkIII are a lot more fun. But you should enjoy it. Have fun!

Long story but I have 2 of them. Both are good guns.

Bought my wife one and she absolutely loves it. Very fine little gun.
I have the same exact set-up. Pretty reliable. It is only pistol I have with a laser. Fun to plink. I do about the same close accuracy-wise with the laser or the 3 dot sights. My Sister-in-law was so-so with the sights, but dead on with the laser. Was not shot much this past 1 1/2 year due to cost of 22 ammo at $60/brick which I refuse to pay. You will have fun. By the way, great ergonomic grip. Enjoy
