I am selling a S&W model 625 .45ACP revolver. It is stainless with a round butt grip, 6 inch barrel with full lug and adjustable sights. It comes with a holster and a bunch of moon clips. I am the second owner. I bought it from a friend of mine who didn't put 200 rounds though it. I myself, have probably put 300 rounds through the gun. I shot a few pin shoots and did surprisingly well with the gun. It is incredibly accurate and has very little recoil. an absolute pleasure to shoot.
This particular gun is a bit special. you will find stamped on a 625 "Model of 1989". That is the year S$W launched the gun. My gun has stamped "Model of 1988". I understand S&W released a few guns (prototypes) to the market as a test to see how well they would be accepted. These particular guns were not production guns per se, and were extremely well built. The trigger is amazing. The guns were received quite well and thus...., S&W started mass production and launched in 1989. I am told it is a gun that will only appreciate and can get $1300 for the gun. If anyone is interested, I will let it go for $1K (plus shipping). If I do this correctly, you will see attached pics. You will also note, I should not quit my day job to become a photog. The pics do not do justice to the gun. If interested, please send me a PM. Here goes....
