Can't wait to get it to the range. Beautiful G-10 grips that just grabs your hands and locks them in.
Can't recommend Sportsmans Outdoors enough. Ordered late Monday night and delivered today. 750 shipped which is a great price.

Nice firearm..........................that Sportsman's has some good deals. If it's your first Sig, you will get the Signess, if it's not, it's too late for ya......................

Nice pistole, tango!
I have a P229 Equinox .40 that I bought about 10 years ago. Although the black and gray laminated wood grips it came with looked nice, I replaced them with the same Hogue G10 black and gray "Piranha G-Mascus" grips you have (although mine doesn't have the Sig Sauer logo). I agree, those grips feel awesome; much grippier as well as thinner than the OEM grips I had. I love it, and I have no complaints about it except it has very high bore axis and isn't nearly as compact and easy to conceal as my Kahrs. But, it also holds a lot more rounds, so...
I've put several 1000s of rounds through mine, and it's been flawless. It's very accurate too. I think you'll enjoy yours very much, but then you already have the "Signess," so you already know that.

Range tested a P229 357 that I loved.
Enjoy your P229!

I'm sure it will serve you well. I never had a P229 but did have a P225 and currently have a P220. They're all great pistols.

I picked up a P229R a few months ago and love it. I put in a Short Reset Trigger kit, Crimson Trace grips and has been very accurate. Congrats and good luck with it.
