Hey Guys,

I've been a member here for several years but could not post under my 1096369fred handle.... So I re-joined under Gundog762.

On a whim, I picked up,a used CM-9, at my local fun shop....($299.... thought it was a pretty good deal! I already have a CW-9, and CW-45) I really like the size and feel of the CM-9 and am thinking of doing a stippling and a light action job on her!

The only "issue" is when I got home I stripped and cleaned her.... And noticed that the front dust cover appears to be slightly "bowed out" just forward of the trigger guard. I think it is just a cosmetic issue.... But figured I would ask you Kahr gurus just to be sure..... The internal front rails appear to be straight, and the slide functions as it should without excessive play. Has anyone else seen this.... Should I be concerned?

I haven't shot it yet.... But am hoping I have no issues....

I think they are manufactured that way. Should not be any problem.

Yes, all's good. All of my Kahrs (PM9, PM40, PM45) are similarly bowed.

That's because the CM9 is a swell gun. You have to learn some people everything. :)

Thanks Guys..... Feel better now..... Was a little worried I bought someone else's problem!!!
today I removed all the molded "bumps" in the front and back strap..... Next step will be stippling
the grip... Also polished the feed ramp.... So making progress!

thanks!
