Very sorry to hear that, I'm sure we've all lost someone close to us at some point in life, and it never gets easier. For me, the most important thing to remember at a time like this is the good times you had, and the second most important thing to remember is that this is part of life and will happen to us all at some point. I take comfort in the thought that I will see my family who has passed in the next emanation.

Thanks, jokco, for tellin' us anyway. Our parents be gone, but we haven't lost a sibling yet and that be hard to even imagine. Sincerest condolences, best wishes, and prayers Muggsy!!

I want to thank everyone for their kind words and thoughts. My brother Greg and I were life long friends who did everything together. From little league to obtaining our concealed carry permits. He was fond of saying that if I ever found myself in jail that he wouldn't be able to bail me out, because he'd be sitting in the cell next to me. I always thought that I'd go before him since I was three years older. Life isn't always fair. He was a rock solid conservative and a patriot. He deserved a lot more time on earth. He will be missed by many.

Very saddened to hear of your brother Greg's passing. I lost a long time and continuous friend of 43 years a while back. We teasingly called him by the name his mom's used most frequently, "Dammit!". Now, five years later, I still find myself saying his name..., daily.

Remember the good times you had, the adventures and the things that could have landed you both in the lockup... and smile real big! The natives say a man lives on as long as someone tells his story; so tell 'em... repeatedly.
