Well, I've been lurking long enough and with a new CM45 on it's way I figure it is time to say hello. This forum is great and I used it a bunch for my pre-decision research. It's due to be delivered tomorrow so looks like I may get it out this weekend. This is my first Kahr pistol but I do have an AO M1 Carbine and love it. :D

Welcome. I have learned to appreciate the Kahrs triggers and sight system and now actually prefer them. CM9 & CW45. My Daughter took my CW380.

Howdy! I own several but the CM45 is the newest in the stable. Outstanding accuracy and mine runs Wilson 47D mags too.
Comfortable, concealable, and powerful!

BTW, shot mine today at A&S Indoor Pistol Range. Good place!

I think that is what I am looking forward to the most. I have read about how sweet Kahr triggers are.

It took time for me to get used to it but now I prefer it over others. Kahr makes excellent guns. You'll love it. Welcome!!

The pistol hasn't shipped from Bud's yet but I did get the (2) 6 round mags I ordered. I compared them to my Wilson 8 rounders and they are very similar. So these will work for range mags with no modification?

I have heard the wilson mags will work at times. Mine works with 7 round act-mags and cheap 1911 mags i have modified to fit.

Also like others have said I have grown to really love the kahr trigger. Its supper smooth and to me makes it easy to shoot accurately. Also I like the bar/dot sights. They line up perfect for my old eyes.

welcome to the club, from s.e. pa. wilson 47d`s will work great, mine needed about 5 to 10 min. each tweeking with a file, emory, and polishing to clear the slide. yeah, buds can be kinda slow, my ruger took a bit longer than i thought it should have.

Welcome. You are gonna love that CM45. All of my 1911 mags work fine without any modification but some won't always lock the slide on the last round. Often if I'm carrying the CM45 I'll keep a 1911 as a nightstand gun with a couple of spare 1911 mags for reloads. Typically the carry gun goes in the nightstand at the end of the day too. This way they share reload mags.

Yes they will

I'll have to check another Wilson mag. I tried one and it didn't seem to fit but a Ruger SR1911 mag fit fine and the Wilson's fit in the SR1911.
