View Full Version : cm45 loaded chamber indicater does not protrude out when loaded like my cm9 did ?

You mean the extractor? I can see how there might be a slight difference. My CM40 sticks out about a millimeter or two is all. It's really not a "loaded chamber indicator", it's just the extractor being used as such.

mine does not protrude at all but I know its loaded

Not if it kicks out the spent shell after you fire.

ok ty. I just looked at it again without it being loaded then I reloaded it. it came out just very little so I guess its ok. My cm9 actually sticks pass the frame. I guess im used to the cm9 sticking that far out and this one doesent hardly at all.

My CM45 laid flat when loaded my PM45 extractor sticks out when loaded. Since it's not designed to be an indicator as long as it performs it's intended function (extracting the cartridge) I wouldn't worry about it.

The best thing to do is to keep the gun fully loaded at all times. In that way there's never a question in your mind.
