This all to close to home for me, this is only 6 or7 miles. I drive thru Tinicum all the time and it gods country in rural area and beautiful country side. Lots of trees as you drive thru this township and is a perfect Sunday drive. Now I here this story, they said the home owner got his gun, well the real story is once the guy left he had to go upstairs to get his gun. I NEVER go anywhere without my gun on my hip, the tool you need has to be ready for you. Also it was said the perp got in from the hide away key, just don’t be dumb on where you hide a house key like under the door mat.
Moral of the story is be as prepared as you can

...glad they are OK. But I would have probably let him go once he left the house. Tough call because, if you do let him go, you let him free to do it again to someone else. Kudo's to the couple.

I'm with you Harrylee. We have home invasions rarely but, when the do occur, they are during the day. I carry at home.

OK now I know where all you guys hind your keys and I’m worried about muggsys golf club teeing off the perps head,The garage code is 1234 but I’ll never tell anyone that. But in this video you here the woman talk and the perp didn’t sound right, like he was high or something in the head was off. Now I know it’s a grey area going outside but if that dude thought maybe he didn’t get enough and may come back in or could come back another day. I would say he needs to be stopped. Already held a gun point all is in play and don’t want a repeat

Agreed. That couple did an amazing job. Risky. But amazing and brave. Who knows whose life they might have saved?
