Just purchased my first Kahr ever! I've been wanting a pocket pistol for awhile and did a lot of research on them. I shot a cm9 awhile back and loved the trigger. I handled a cw380 and fell in love but read a lot of bad reviews. Somehow None of the other pocket pistols felt as good as it did so I finally bought one! Should be able to pick it up from my ffl next week. I'm hoping I get lucky and don't have issues. any advice on breaking it in? Any parts I can polish? I did a polish job on my Glock and wonder if there's anything I could polish up on my Kahr to help out? Thanks guys look forward to hearing from y'all!

Welcome. Check out the new member area ... especially the "Prep..." sticky.
^^Check it out first & a little prep, and start shooting 124 grains until broken in. Go about 5 mags full between cleaning. CM9 is my every day pocket carry. I greatly prefer the long smooth striker fired trigger and the "dot the i" sights.

I think he bought the 380, but the advice still holds:
1. prep per the prep sticky
2. stick with American brass FMJ (Blazer Brass is fine)
3. Clean it after 50 rounds
4. Call Kahr and get your return shipping label now :behindsofa:

Enjoy it. The CW380 is a fine pistol. Clean it, lube it and have fun.

Sorry, My fault, I misread what you said (.380 not 9mm). However, my Daughter liked my CW380 so well she took it. Hardball for practice, XTP for carry. No problems and a break-in was less than 100 rounds.

There's nothing on a Kahr Pistol that needs to be polished. Having said that, here's a Kahr polishing video for you if you just can't keep your paws off of it. I wouldn't advise polishing anything until after the break in period. You might find that it's not needed.

I have the P380. Has it's preferences on ammo but they are handy little guns. Congrats and welcome to the forum.

My Kahr T9 went back to the factory and when it came home it had a polished feed ramp, slide release, mag release and trigger bar. The darn thing has the smoothest trigger pull I've ever felt, and can be racked in the slingshot method or I can ride the slide without any feeding problems. I am considering doing the same thing to my CW9 which requires the first round be loaded using the Kahr "approved" method of locking the slide back and using the slide release.
