I have been in the market for a long time for an AR15/M16 type platform rifle/variant. In my searches, I have come across the AR57 that seems to be a fairly nice piece of modification to the rifle. AR57 (http://www.57center.com/)
I think what is really appealing is that it utilizes a simpler recoil system rather than the gas blow back, keeping it cleaner and likely eliminating jams commonly attributed to the gas tube fed design. I don't have anything to back it up or experiences with firing an AR platform and am only speaking in regards to what I have read most commonly.

Anyone have any experience with it?

I have thought about getting one as well, to use as a second upper on my SBR. I have a PS90, so mags and ammo are no problem. If you get one, please let us know how you like it.

I've heard little good or bad. The 5.7 round is supposed to be quite fun though. Having said that it doesn't do anything that a more available and cheaper round doesn't. Try it and see if you like it.
