I hope to have a PM9 by next week, mostly I have Beretta 71's and S&W 3d gen pistols. Looking for the PM9 to be my "heavy" pocket pistol. I also have Colt Mustang and Sig P238 for pocket carry. Looking forward to poking around . :)

Well poke around to your hearts content Brent. Glad you found us and I do believe you'll enjoys that PM9 immensely.

Pretty light and handy little unit with a good bite.

Welcome aboard. I love the PM9, about the same size as your P238 and can shoot 9mm +p, what more could anyone want?

Hello there Brent,

I'm new here too. Newer shooter in general in fact. In the realm of pistols my experience has been with Beretta PX4 Storms, fullsize .45 and compact 9mm. Then I wanted a more easily concealable 9mm and settled on the PM9. Almost 500 rounds through mine at this point. Great gun! Period.

Accurate. Reliable.

Did I mention accurate? Did I mention reliable? ;)

One thing from my limited experience with the PM9 is that I really like the extended 7 round magazine for shootability over the flush fitting 6 rounder. I know you can just curl your pinky under the end of the grip with the 6 rounder, but it really wants to jump out of your had some when you do shoot like that. Having the extra finger on the longer magazine helps me a LOT with control. I have ordered some Pearce grip extensions for the 6 round magazines and hope those help in the same manner. The nice idea behind the Pearce extensions is that with the understanding that you are giving up a round, the extension is sculpted so that there is no back edge to print when you carry it concealed, while still providing the extra real estate for your pinky to aid in control when shooting. We'll see.

Congratulations!

Welcome, Brent! You'll love your PM9. Pearce mag extensions make a world of difference when shooting with the 6 round mags.

Welcome to the Forums & greetings from Texas! I think you'll be happy with the PM9. I dont own one, however I do own a CW40 which I think is one of the most sweetest shooting 40's out there...

Welcome to the forum!

Really like my PM9 which I mostly pocket carry. PM9 with me most all the time to the point where I only occasionally carry my .380 or .45 in plce of my PM9.
