"Man basket" birthday gift for our little boy....

... who turned 47 yesterday. Instead of the usual dinner gift card & cash (he makes 3x what we do), he's getting this at our family dinner today. The basket also contains boxes of .357 Magnum, 9mm, & .30-30 ammo hidden in the tissue.

Since he already had a Remington BDL .30-06 & a Browning Safari .243 to hunt with, several years ago I gave him a 98% Winchester 1894 (made in 1941) - but he hadn't bought any ammo for it yet.

BTW - Aaron Franklin is recognized as the best BBQ "chef" in Texas:

I like the idea of a man basket. I'd like some sardines packed in oil and a package of beef jerky included in mine. A man can't live by bread alone.

And here my birthday is in a couple of days, I sit alone in the house with a misbehaving pup (13 year old German Shepard who for some reason is reverting back to puppy hood). Although, my wife did send me a birthday card that compared my age in pig year's to that of being a football.
