Buongiorno. Benvenuti a bordo. And that's about all of the Italian that your going to get from this Ukrainian. You made a damn good choice in a firearm for concealed carry and an excellent choice in caliber. Enjoy your new gun.

Welcome fgcm. I don't know as much Italian as Muggsy but I'm glad you found us.
I agree, excellent choice. I wasn't aware you could still own guns over there, I'm glad you can.
May neighbor commutes to Italy every two weeks. He's head of some sales department that sells medical equipment, I'm not sure what all, maybe a cover for a CIA operation I dont' know but he's done it for years.
His wife and daughter actually moved over there and lived for a year. I think they call that studying abroad or something.
Glad you joined us. I'll try to learn some Italian words so I don't look so dumb.

I don't speak any Italian but I do own a couple Italian shotguns and I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night. WELCOME!
Ciao Muggsy,
actually I'm not carrying it.
Here Kahr pistols are quite rare.
I saw one at my dealer's and he handled it to me asking to pull the trigger.
Just one pull convinced me to buy it immediately.
It's surprisingly controlable despite being so light.

Ciao Bawanna,
thanks, glad to have joined.
Here firearm laws are a mess, but we are still allowed to own some pistols and to shoot at the range. A CCW license is another story.
Can I say that a country where people are not allowed to own firearms is not truly free?
I hope I'm not infringing any rule of the forum.

Don't worry about the rules Franco. I push back the boundaries all of the time. Bawanna will let you know if you pass me by. What little Italian I know I picked up during my Navy days. I learned to swear in fourteen different languages. :) In what part of Italy are you located? I've been to Naples, Toronto, Venice and Sicily. One of my favorite countries to visit. Good people and good food.

You are most certainly allowed and I suspect we'll have no problem with rule infringements from you.
My first impression is that you are a team player and willing to play well with others.
Now Muggsy stretches it from time to time but we wouldn't be the same without him, maybe better but definitely not the same. I should slap myself for saying that, sorry mugs, it just slipped out. Couldn't help myself.
I served in navy too, but this was 25 years ago. Being graduated, I had been posted at a typewriter. Funny way to serve. I live in a town close to the swiss border. You are right, Italy is a nice place and food is fine. Happy to know you visited so many places here. You wrote Toronto, but I presume You visited Turin. ;)

+1. We've been to Sardinia twice, and all up and down the east coast / Tuscany. We only spent an afternoon in Rome but I'd love to go back. We really enjoyed our visits too.
Welcome. I also have the CW45 (great trigger) and a Franchi shotgun. I took Latin all through school but speak no foreign languages.

Welcome fgcm, it's good seeing people on here from other countries. Someday I'll travel to Italy, always wanted to.
I have a CW .45 and love it as well. The trigger is smooth as butter and it shoots a lot straighter than I do.

No, I meant Taranto, but I spelled it wrong. My bad. Taranto is known as the Spartan City, because it was founded by the Spartans in 706 B.C. It has a huge Navel base or at least it did when I was there in 1968.

Welcome indeed, Franco. Good to have you here.
HP1978, life is short so do it. Beautiful country, great food and art, and you're literally walking through history everywhere. The sooner you go, the sooner you can go again.

Que pasa compadre? Muy buena pistola!!!! Welcome to the forum from deep south Texas!!!!! Spanish, Tex/Mex (Tejano), or English here. Guess the Spanish translates a little. Recently had one of the little Beretta Mod. 1935 pistolas in .32 acp, Italian marked, made in 1952. A buddy of mine wanted it real bad, so he found something I wanted bad enough to swap it to him.
Got one of those CW45s myself. Was carrying a Ruger LC9, but wanted something with a bigger hole in the front. Trigger is much better than the LC9 also.
Have a good one.
