Summer Vacation

Just a short note to let you guys know that Muggsy has decided to take a summer vacation. I'm going to spend it playing golf, fishing, and going to the range. I may pop in from time to time to check up on a few of you, but for the summer, I won't be a regular. Bawanna will attest to the fact that I've always been a little irregular, but that's just one man's opinion. You guys hold the fort. I'll be back in the fall.

I'm sure it's the golf that has ruined your overall view of all worldly things. Whacking a ball and then go and look for it, how stupid is that.

You will certainly be missed on a daily basis. However, I was able to use the "Old Guys filter" on the Kahr network and will now explain to all the young guys what your subliminal message is. The filtered translation is something like this. "Muggsy is going to spend the Summer playing golf, fishing, and going to the range. I may poop from time to time but I won't be regular. I have always been irregular. I promise to take my fiber and Metamucil this Summer. You guys hold the farts. I'll be back in the Fall.

I'll be at the Lake Erie Islands in the western basin for a part of the season and then I will migrate eastward with the walleye. I'll touch base with you guys. Just not on a daily basis. I plan to golf where ever the ball takes me. There are about 40 golf courses within a thirty mile radius of my home.

I got to help with some training scenarios and got to pat down officers for weapons prior to doing it. Safety and all that don't cha know. That was a blast too.

For some reason when I read this all I could think of was one of the opening scenes in Smokey & the Bandit 3. The scenes which Sheriff Buford T. Justice retires to Florida and is fishing and walking on a beach. Too bad I couldn't find a clip on Youtube. Have a good summer muggsy!
