O.K. everybody here is a strange problem I have been having with my flush fit ( 5 round) P.M. 40 magazine. One of my flush fit magazines ( I have 2 ) is giving me problems. After about 3 full magazines the floor plate starts backing out by itself while the button that holds it in place is still pushed into the hole in the floor plate. In other words the floor plate and the flat plate with the button on it both start to back out of the magazine. I do not really see how it is doing this, there does not look to be enough room for this to physically happen.
I am sorry I do not know how to post pics of this or I would.
I have sent the magazine back to Kahr and I thought they sent me a new one last month, but I suspect they just popped it back into place and sent it right back to me. I am now going to make a small mark on it and request specifically a new magazine this time.
My PM is running flawlessly now, I have about 400 rounds through it and it is noticeably smoother, and just shoots like a dream.
I hope I can get satisfaction since Ian has left the service department.
