You know Bawanna is going to be mad at me for beating him to the draw by being the first to reply to his cyber bride. I've been a burr under his saddle since I joined this forum. Rain aside, how's life been treatin ya, Annie Oakley?

I got on the "eating healthy/exercise" wagon a little over a year ago. Started running, trained and completed two half-marathons, considering a full. Lost over 60# in the process. Feeling good.

She's all yers, Bawanna. I've got more woman than I can handle at home. She is lookin' real good though. I might have to take up marathonin' maw own self, just to get in shape. I keep telling my wife that round is a shape, but she ain't buyin' what I'm sellin'.

You must have run a heck of a race to be so far out in front of everybody that they aren't even in the picture!! Congrats on the run. I'm 59 now and still try to do at least one 5 k a year. kind of makes me still feel kinda young :D

not even. I was in the top 25%, so I was happy. After 13.1 miles, people are sorta spread out by the time they get to the finish. Plus, this was a fairly small race (1100 half marathoners)

Wow! I didn't think you had that much extra to lose. Good for you and congratulations. I lost as much as 43 lbs but am keeping over 35 off. Dinner and wine help keep my weight up... and the snacks with the wine!

Wynn :)

Congrats on the weight loss! I know it's not easy. I hit 242 last January, 2014, and told myself enough is enough. Hit my goal of sub 200 in November, just before Thanksgiving and have kept it off...pretty much just fluctuate between 202 and 205. Look much better, feel really great, and I ain't never goin' back there again.

ohhhh, but I did. a lot of extra "junk in the trunk!" lol Wine and snacks help me maintain so I don't lose more. Unfortunately. lol I'd honestly like to lose another 10-15, but it's not worth giving up wine and snacks!

when I had to shop in the "big girl" clothing section I had the "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH" conversation with myself. Congrats on your loss! I'm with you on the "never going back there again".
