I am going to buy some ammo for my cm45,been reading alot of post on the gun jamming with certain ammo.I'm angry that kahr has not taken care of the problem, anyway instead of going threw all the details can someone suggest a few brands for the range and JHP+s for carry.
Thanks

Speer gold dot JHP. Mine shoots it fine.

Every gun can be different but it's not a Kahr problem to be angry about. Many brand guns run better with certain ammo. When you run across one that runs well, stick with it. Simple.

Kahrs prefer hot ammo, and longish cartridges.

Longish cartidges? Mine seems to prefer shorter.

It seems to shoot most everything well but a long overall length will tie it up. When first shooting my handloads it balked. Had to seat the bullets just a tad and all was well.

I've had no issues with any name brand stuff. Shot Blazer aluminum during breakin and did fine.

I really don't think they are that finicky myself, least mine aren't.

Mine runs fine on Blazer Brass and American Eagle. That has been easy to find and afford so I haven't tried anything else. But I will if I see something on sale. I think there was a box of Speer Lawman in there too somewheres.

Speer 230-gr Short Barrel Gold Dots for carry... also Bonded Remington 230-gr Golden Sabers for defense, but just about anything factory and non-steel for the range. I use some Atlanta Arms "factory reloads" at the range when I run short, with no problems.

Critical Defense has been flawless in my PM45 (also in my PM40 and PM9, no issues).

i've shot Federal Brass & Alluminum, Blazer Brass & Alluminum, WWB & Remington UMC with ZERO issues on any, buy whatever you find & enjoy don't be afraid to buy the cheap Alluminum for the range specially if you don't reload.

Dunno what to say there B'man, except... length can be a determining factor in reliability?

I know in my MK, longer caused issues............shorter was better............in this case:p

So what you're saying is that it isn't so much the length that's important, but how you use it? (We are still talking ammo here, aren't we?)

It's not the size of the bullet, it's the motion of the firearm........................................... .................
