P380 new sights..Would anyone here dare to try/

I have a P380 with factory sights. I would like to have XS Big Dots on it or does anyone have another recommendation that would serve my P380 well? Most importantly, I really would like to avoid sending the slide somewhere for new sights. Would anyone out there/or has anyone done a self install of new sights on a P380? If yes, hpow did you do it and was it difficult?

I think XS Big Dots would be awesome on your P380. I have not installed any on a 380 but I did just recently put some on my PM45. The principle and strategy are exactly the same.
Kahr sights can be extremely tight, I got very luck, mine were tight but with a hammer (small), a good vise (large) and some good brass and steel punches I got them to move. If you get them to move your virtually home free. The new sights you can drag accross sandpaper or a fine file until they go about a 1/3 or more of the way, then just tap them till they are centered up. A sight pusher to get the old off is great but not worth the money for 1 sight swap.
Generally if you send your slide in it usually a very quick turn around so it wouldn't be gone long. The nice thing is it's usually perfect, no marks or dings that you have to blame on yourself. I find some satisfaction in knowing I did it myself even though I did do a couple minor dings.
I love the XS sight system both standard and big dot. I run em on everything and those that I don't will wear them someday.
