Well, took my new CW380 to the range for the first time today. I followed all of the suggestions posted here for prepping the gun. I fired 150 rounds of PMC, and had about a 15% failure rate. Being fair about things, the gun was not cleaned at all during the range session, and I’m fairly certain that contributed significantly to the malfunctions; It was extremely dirty after about 50 rounds, and I pushed it for another 100, mainly to see if it would stop completely. It kept going. Most of the issues I encountered were failure to feed or eject. These problems presented when the ramp and the chamber became heavily fouled with carbon. Frankly, I wasn’t at all surprised by it. I don’t think any micro- pistol would have behaved differently. These little guns are engineering marvels really, and push the limits on design.
I was impressed with the gun overall. It’s VERY accurate, surprisingly so in fact. The trigger is smooth, and the gun is very pleasant to shoot. There is no recoil to speak of, and the gun behaved in a very gentlemanly fashion. I also have to say that I never had two malfunctions in a row, and basic remedial action cleared the various issues promptly. I'm feeling very positive about this gun at this juncture.
I’ll post again after I clean the gun, and make another tripto the range.

I also have a cw380 and my first range experience was similar but I was having problems with the slide failing to lock back after the last round was fired. I've had mine roughly 6 months maybe more and have around 550 rounds through it. The last time I went to the range I still had a problem with the slide locking back but I had no other problems. I'll admit I haven't shot the gun in a while but I carry it a lot especially now with it being summer. It's a very nice and sweet shooting gun though. Good luck with it.

I have the slightly larger CT 380. I had similar to begin with. Low quality dirty ammo never helps- and actually makes for a poor start on these tight tolerance little guns.
Mine does run smooth now after an adjustment to the slide lock to prevent the premature slide lock.
On another forum I was advised to-
-pull out the slide lock lever and mark it with a felt tip pen where the bullet rubs against as it advances up next in the mag-
-replace lever and hand cycle several rounds through- but do not allow mag to get empty- (if empty, then the mag follower will mark it)
-remove lever and inspect for markings where bullet may have rubbed off ink- if you see a shiny mark- lightly file it down at the mark. (you need a tiny file)
-repeat cycle- removing just a small amount each time (remove lever-mark with pen- replace pen-recycle ammo)
-repeat until you no longer see any shiny rub marks.
On mine I actually filed off about 0.012".
On the bottom end of the slide-lock lever- where it sticks out enough for the mag follower to lift it up and hold open on last round- on mine there was so much metal there that it would lift up with each shot as the next bullet moved up in the mag. This caused a premature slide lock with every round fired.
