Just received my new CM9 last week. I sold off a Shield 9mm as I felt it was a little too large for pocket carry. The CM9 is a little smaller in every dimension and weighs a bit less also, partly due to carrying one less round. The result is that it does carry easier in my size 4 Blackhawk pocket holster.
I did the prep work, cleaning and letting it sit locked back for a few days then took it to the gun range last Friday and shot about 150 rounds. Combination of mostly FMJ but many JHP rounds also. No problems with any ammo.
I shot some at 10 paces and some at 12, getting better and more used to the trigger as I went. I've been shooting semi-autos for quite a few years now.
Feels like a keeper.
