Very good, Lori. It's nice to see you enjoying your sport and spreading your knowledge. I hope that you can convince more women to carry on their body. The purse will probably be a target for theft and it's hard to draw your weapon when you're fighting the BG for possession of your purse.
Wynn :)
I preach and preach and preach on the body carry. Give them LOTS of options and let them handle and try on sample holsters. Hope a few of them are convinced!

Most BG's would be focused on the purse and REALLY surprised by a woman drawing a body-carried weapon. The purse would be a nice distraction.
Wynn :)
My daily carry: G19 in an Ava Holster by Flashbang Holsters. It's true holster perfection, IMO.

Nice work. I am lucky enough to teach a number of first time women shooters. They make the best students because they listen.
Interesting holster for women video if you have never seen it.

My thanks for spreading the word to women. Too many are scared of them, or don't think they can't handle one or a number of other reasons.. It's a good thing they have ladies like you to teach them different.
Congrats, Lori. You've worked hard and surrounded yourself with good people. You've been discovered. Keep at it.

Thanks, guys. I never thought my wish to be able to protect myself would go this far. No turning back now though!

Well Lori, you are one Sooner this Texas fan certainly won't mess with. lol
Good for you, though. My wife of 48 years doesn't like guns, and has never fired one.
that's too bad. Hubby and I love going to the range together. He's an LEO Firearms Instructor and we are always able to help each other fix little issues as they come up. Most of the time that doesn't work out well for couples, but we've figured out how make it work.

I wrote for an Ohio Outdoor publication for ten years. I enjoyed the hunting and fishing, but writing a monthly column was the worst part of the job for me. You did an excellent job on your article and I wouldn't have expected any less from you. You go girl. :)

Congrats on your promotion to Kahrtalk's top celebrity... Bet the paparazzi will figure out real quick that when they aggressively point the camera lens at you, that you can point something far scarier back at them.
I have always enjoyed helping new female shooters on the range. Never had one leave without a smile and some new found confidence. That smile always gives me one of my own.

Keep up the great work, we need more ladies like you educating other women about gun use and safety. Every new shooter we can introduce to the sport helps all of us.
