Hi
Just picked up a used PM9. When I go to put it back together after cleaning I notice the slide does not come all the way back when trying to insert the take down pin. I can get the slide just back far enough so the guide marks line up but that is it. Not sure if that is normal or not.
Then, after the gun is completely reassembled, every so often when I rack the slide it will not return to full battery. I will have to give it a good palm slap to the back of the slide to push it all the way into battery.
Now I shot a box of PMC 115 grain without any issues. When I reassembled the gun I made sure the guide rod spring opening on the muzzle end was in the 6 o'clock position.
The gun seems to be fairly new with little signs of wear. The original owner said he only put about three hundred rounds through the gun.
Anyone have any similar issues. Like I said, the gun went bang every time with no problems. But that was prior to me breaking it down for a cleaning.
Thanks
Dave
