Looks like a training video. A couple shots after he's down may be questionable.

Looks like training video to me too. With real bullets the bad guy flies about 15' with each shot, usually sommersaulting. I saw it on Walker Texas Ranger.

Maybe they were using 9's?

I didn't see any questionable shots myself. Kept the gun real or not real till pretty close to the end.

Seems odd that the perp didn't appear get off a single shot.
Looked like he had plenty of opportunities.
Have to wonder if that was a real gun at all.:2eek:

Yes, it looks to me like a training film. The whole thing was filmed from every angle to be critiqued in a classroom. How many actual shootings are so well documented? Likely very few and from security cameras at best. I'd say as a training film, it was very well done.

There is nothing fake about the video. It is actual footage recorded by the bodycam of Sgt Gabriel Green of the Palestine Police Department, Palestine TX. The OIS occurred on May 31, 2015. The deceased, James Bushey, was shot multiple times by Sgt Green and his partner Officer Kaylynn Griffin after he pointed a gun at the them. It was later determined that the gun, a 1911 clone, was actually a BB gun. Bushey went into the Applebees restaurant after shoplifting alcohol from a nearby WalMart store where he was followed by police.

You need to check out Fast Eddie's Bon Air in Alton, IL.

1/2 pound Fast Eddie burger for $0.99. Basket of fries for $0.99.

Great food and coldest beer in the Midwest. We never go to St. Louis without stopping there.
