Is it just my computer or are the posts getting fewer and fewer? Maybe I am not seeing all the posts, I select new posts and generally only get about 10 or 12 and when I come back 1/2 hour later there may be none or 1 or 2 new posts. I seem to remember a lot more posts 6 month ago.

Always slows down considerable in the summer time when folks are traveling or doing outside stuff. Blame it on Harleys, Golf, and bikini clad babes.

I just got back myself, tried to check in regular but internet was spotty and the ipad imitation thingy my wife got me was frustrating.

We do need to step it up around here, just won't settle for boring. Just not right.

Not much to talk about I guess. Obama is doing an excellent job. Folks love him so much he could easily win a 3rd term. Heard him say so myself. Hillary is being honest about everything. Kerry insures us Iran won't get the bomb. Biden is going to run for pres. Planned Parenthood is all above board in what they are doing - murdering babies all for women's health, you know. Nothing to do with money. The IRS doesn't have even a "smidgen" of corruption. Heard Obama say so. NSA's spying on us is keeping us safe. Well, almost. Soros is running our country from behind the scenes. And a swell job he is doing. Guess we might as well close the forum down. Nothing to left talk about. Well, almost.

She is indeed Mrs Moon. I have that poster framed in my man cave personally autographed by her to bawanna.

It's a much cherished possession. If the house caught on fire, that would be the first thing I'd grab to save.

I sadly did not meet her in person but my detective buddy at work went to shot and got it for me.

I got the new Kahr girls poster signed last year, Adrianna, pretty cool too but far below Mrs. Moon.

Tip of the day - Don't log out when you leave the site. There's no need to do that. Saves time when you come back plus the threads are still in the New Posts list. The ones you already read last time look sort of "grayed out" unless there's a new reply. When you want to clear everything off the list, click "Mark Forums Read"

I worry about forum members that post things that cause someone to want retaliation and send someone to cause harm to the OP. With the violence that is happening around the world it wouldn't surprise me if a hit man showed up at some posters home and take them out. We other forum members would never know because there would be no more posts from the poster and nobody knows them personally to read their obituary. We count them as only no longer posting. Makes me wonder if it already has happened.

I think many here so the same. Lots of explanations, some good, some bad.

I miss many of the members who have slipped away. Tinman comes to mind, but he says he's just busy so maybe some day he'll come back. Too many others to mention.

I like to think we watch out for each other, I think it's a good thing to be missed when one is gone. Except here at work, I try to stay under the radar here much as possible.

Im still here just dont check in much, most posts are probably problematic regarding th cw380, seem to get a lot of that if my memory serves me..

Has little to do with weather as other sites are active year round that I go to, however bushcraft and outdoor sites do tend to spike with ideal weather....

By the way those that know me and my first and only dealing witb Kahr customer service, I will add they must have revamped it or something as I just called the other day regarding any change in recoil springs for the 380 as I've heard various opionions an this and was curious about it, told him I'll check the site and pick them up, and he said no worries, got my info and is shipping out a set to try for free....Impressed me to say the least as my previous experience has been by far the worst than any other out there......

Good to see they have improved two fold

I'm still around also. Been doing more lurking than posting.

Hot as heck here in Texas now and it seems that SWMBO is trying to do more work outside in the yard back yard and trying to drag me into it as well. Her latest is that she wants to move the pond a total of about 20 feet. Not that big of a pond and is a pre-fab unit anyway. The deal we had was that I would take care of the house maintenance and the front yard. Mowed the front yard today and then part of the back near my loading/woodworking/goofing off shed.

Took the Kahr CW9 and the S&W 422 out yesterday. Had to lube the heck out of the S&W using the auto match ammo. The CW9 performed as usual (just about every shot into the 9 or 10 ring) Only problem was there were a few rounds that did not go off due to the Wolf primers that I had used for the reloads.

I've been pretty busy for a coupla three months now with no end in sight. Since the snow has been gone I've been busy with fire mitigation around the house, had the three little grandbabies out here for about a month and a half, fishing, camping, wood gathering/sawing/spitting for the coming weather, scouting for hunts coming in the fall, crushing beer cans from over the winter, doing mods on the new camper, working on the Blazer, and that's just the fun stuff!

Of course, the wife's honey-do-list gets in the way of everything I want to do. I've only managed to get out shooting once this summer and have yet to swing a golf club.

Ahhh, isn't retirement bliss?

Don't think Kahr ownership is a requirement for membership or posting.

Well boys and girls my bad ju ju feelings about Muggsy were apparently correct and for once I surely wish I was wrong.

I just received a PM from him and he authorized me to advise the gang. He's apparently a very sick man.

Found a baseball size growth on his right lung, just got out of hospital and is at home with hospice care totally dependant on others for his well being. Says he still checks in but doesn't have the energy to stir the pot which is his forte as we all know.

I asked for more details, weather this growth was removeable or malignant or what, what the prognosis is.

It does not sound good at all.

I suggest all who have contact with the man upstairs put in a few kind words for Muggsy, hopefully help us get him back on track and back to his cantankerous ole self.

I'll keep everyone posted if I receive any additional information. I know he said a couple members here were more in the loop.

I hate to here that. Had a talk with the man upstairs as suggested. He needs to get better because he is a positive optimistic person in his own cranky kind of way.

My wife play Tom Sawyer all the dang time, she starts a project, leaves it no where near done and then expects me to fix it or finish it.

Watches TV remodel shows and visits Lowes and comes up with all kind of hair brained stoopid things to do.

Should be a separate section to allow wives into the garden center but not allow into hardware, appliances or plumbing, or lumber, or anywhere that involve labor and nap interferring.

Are my wife and your wife sisters?

Golf is the game of the devil, pure foolishness if ya ask me. NO loss there.

Golf might be fun with one of those AR attachments that replace the flash hider. See who gets closer to the flag.

Wishing Muggsy a speedy recovery, and asking for grace from above to help. Not the kind of thing I want happening to anybody.

Muggsy and I have been off line friends for a few years, and if u think I badgered the hell out of him on the forum, well it was nuttn like we did personally to each utter, but you know what, he and I got close due to this ribbing etc. We have a very good forum member here who like the colnel stated is very sick and yes colonel it is maglinant, and inoperable. He is undergoing chemo daily and if u have ever had chemo u know how sick u7 are and u really don't wanttyo have to reply to anyone either. He doesn't wrote ti me but a few ties and that is fine, just to hear him call me an a$$hole means alot to to me. He is a fighter, a navy man, so u guys already know that. I ain't crossin Muggsy off by any means, and yes indeed prayers do help. We all kid about our wives but Muggsy has a wife that is with him 24/7 and he would not be here today if it was not for her.. I think next week we should call if Muggsy's week and a prayer daily from all of us, and who knows maybe someday he might address one of our members and callhim an a$$hole and that willbe the signal that muggsy is BACK.Just sayin

If it helps I propose Muggsy's Month.

well there u go, so lets start today with GET WELL MUGGSY MONTH. I miss the ol fokker. He had such a nice way of telling me what an a$$hole I was and yet I smiled after reading it. Some of u guys know muggsy well enough to know when he calls u an a$$hole, that means he luvs you. Just sayin I THINK.

How qabout we make every post as of now a start of saying first: GET WELL MUGGSY and then proceed to you forum comments. It will get real catchy fast.

Good idea colonel, I guess sometimes even the worm can find the good apple, or sumpin like that.

GET WELL MUGGSY.

Get well Muggsy- That calling people an a$$hole works pretty good for you too. I didn't realize you loved me so much everytime you said that to me.

For what it's worth I think you and Muggsy are both A$$holes too.
