The fiance had been hinting around about something lightweight that she could carry everyday. Ever since she brought that up i've eyeballing the CW380. I also have a CW9 and prefer to carry it over the CT9 so I decided to sell the CT9. Yesterday after work I picked up the CW380 from a buddy's shop. I can say photos online don't really done do it justice. I had not seen a CW380 in person before this and was amazed how compact it actually is. I pretty much handled the 380 all day today. I had some dead time today at work so I ended up at the range with it. I put 100 FMJ and 2 magazines of carry amo through it without a hickup. It fed, it locked back on the last round, and it performed as it should have. The only issue I had was the trigger pin starting to walk out. When I got back to work I did the file mod and now all seems to be ok (fingers crossed). As of now im really pleased with the purchase and glad I didnt experience any of the other issues that have been common with the CW380.
Enjoy the pics
Shot I took at the range when I noticed the pin backing out

They are tiny. I have big hands and it feels like a tiny cap gun or something in my hands. It shoots pretty gently once I figure out a way to hold onto it.
Congrats on your new pistol.

Nice pistol!
It is very small certainly. Rather though than adding a grip sleeve to add grip size, take advantage of just going up in caliber to a 9mm.

The better half doesn't feel comfortable with my CW9 or the CT9 I sold. She's is defiantly into the CW380. I would rather her carry something she is comfortable with over the size of the ammunition

It seriously feels fake but it's kind of cool because of that

What is the "file mod"?

What is the "file mod"?
Found it in this thread
http://www.kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?27318-CW380-(and-P380)-Modifications
The second mod deals with the trigger hinge pin walking out during firing. I just filed down the lip on the right side of the pin until it was the same diameter as the rest of the pin. After that I was able to insert the pin until I could feel it fully engage the tiny pin on opposite side of the frame that holds it in place. Evidently, the trigger pin wasn't long enough from the factory as it never engaged that tiny pin before. Now it's solidly in there. Hope these mods are helpful to someone else.

Oh if any of you are looking into an IWB Galco holster, the one thats designed for the CW380/P380 has some trigger exposed. I wasnt comfortable with that so I ended up going with a STO630B that is actually made for a Taurus 738. The guys at the range were nice enough to grab a CW380 and P380 to test fit a few different holsters

I put another 100 rounds through it today with no issues whatsoever. The pin filing worked and it no longer backs out

numerous ways to dix that drifiting pin. #1 on the left hand side above the trigger u will notice a small pin, sometimes it backs out a tad even. U should not be able to feel it but u should be able to see it. Take a punch and drift it back up inside that frame. That pin is the keeper pin that holds that trigger pin in place. My PMJ9 dfid that some years back and before I did the tap inb of the pin I taped the trigger pin out a tad more and put some blue locktime on it kand drove it khome, then I reset that little pin and neithger has ever moved...
