I put new sights on a CW380 and a new rear sight on a PM9 today. Since there weren't any dovetail style front sights, it was pretty easy with my cheap sight pusher.
I changed them to 3 dot style because I just can't shoot as well with the dot the "i" type. I know, its me.

I like both types, but I think that I like the dot sights a bit better..........................just can't let that front sight rest on the "tee"..:p................it's nice to be able to change sights easily.

For "ease to change" the CW380 is much easier than the PMs, MKs or K series I have worked on. The plastic front sight comes (breaks) off easily compared to getting those low front sights out of their dovetail on the others. The front sight is easy to put in on the CW380 too. Rear sights aren't too bad on any of them since there is a taller, flat surface to pickup with the sight pusher. Anyway, they are all 3-dot now...
I gotta replace my MK9 sights. I sorta boogered mine up when I took them off prior to sending out for cerakote. Just an excuse for upgrades though.

Even after working on them with some files, I have never gotten any that are overly easy to move. The factory ones don't look like they have been fitted at all when I have removed them, just shoved in there somehow.
If I take my time, it seems to go well enough for me to get the job done. Of course, if I put any value on my time, the $25 or so a smith charges would be a great deal.

I tried to put a value on my time several times, kept coming up goose eggs and gave me a headache.
A good smith is worth his weight near everytime. Tough to find them and a hard field to be successful in.
Too many guys like us that try to do our own cause we're cheap or just poor.

Ach du lieber Alfonse! I think you need to pay a visit to Herr von Stavenhagen for remedial discipline!

LOL, you are probably right. I shot about 3000 rounds with my PM9 and a Beretta with Big Dots and still just don't them that type of sight as well. When I bought my K9 which had trijicon night sights it really drove home how much better I shoot with three dots. It is probably an "old dog" issue. I don't know Herr Von..., but it somehow made me think of Young Frankenstein and I think a horse whinnied.
