I've been absent from the forum for a while.
History is that I purchased a CW9 and had it for five years, thereafter sold it. I can unequivocally state the firearm shot better, was reliable and even more so as time passed. It did improve with age!
It's been about two years since I sold the CW9, and I've been pretty much absent since that time.
I pick up a new PM9 very soon. Have actually wanted one for years and years, but was disappointed with the price point. I had felt it was just too overpriced for my liking.
That scenario changed with a special Anniversary Sale on the PM9 here in the San Diego area.
Thanks to this forum in the past and henceforth.
The only thing that I plan to do different on the the prep for the firearm is to FrogLube it. I have been quite satisfied using FL on my other pistols.
It is inexpensive because one can use the paste sparingly and FL a lot of pistols. I have the 4 oz. jar in my refrigerator and it's 2/3 full after 1 to 2 years since purchase. One or two heat treatments does it for me. Thereafter, I wipe the pistol down after a range trip and might sparingly apply some of it 'cold' to the rails, etc.
Comments welcome.
Thanks, kahrtalk!
