Two more guns going away soonest. Stainless Ruger 10/22 with laminated stock and a Simmons scope and a Kimber 1911 .45 Aluminum Compact. Both, with extra mags and ammo, going out on permanent loan to sister and bil/cousin in PA my next east coast road trip the tail end of this month. This be the guys whose house burned to the ground back in mid-April taking, along with everything else, their entire gun collection and ammunition supply with it. Good rural, conservative gun folk stock who need these right now a lot more than I do.

They getting any insurance help Itxi or did the bottom feeding lawyers weasel their way out as usual.

They anywhere near getting a start on getting put back together?

We need to do a ammo and supply fund raiser for boolits and cleaning supplies, that sort of thing.

We have kids to rearm or take into consideration?

Sincere thanks for asking, Col.....

They were very well covered wrt their insurance policies and both the structure and personal property adjusters are close friend part of their rural community. They were most generously reimbursed for their loss, guns and everything else, and are rebuilding....literally from the ground up. Even the foundation was seriously damaged. Financially they've suffered no loss....damn good thing, too, 'cause they have little income. Their big loss has been emotional....over 30 years on that hilltop that's been a family gathering place for just as long. Being ages 82 and 66 also makes it harder to rebound but they're workin' on it. My rearming gestures, both May and this upcoming, are really just needed TLC efforts.
