I bought the CW 45 a few years ago as an inexpensive carry gun.... I had know idea at the time, But I absolutely love this gun..... it is my primary carry and the one I take to the range the most.. (Have to practice with what you carry!) But anyway my question.... Like I said it was inexpensive, thinking it was just a cheap pistol..Man was I wrong!. So now I want to get a P 45 because of the cosmetic looks and a few minor other little things that are slightly better.. Is the slide from the P45 interchangeable with the CW45? Can I just strip the CW and transfer the parts,Barrel sights ect.... to the P45 slide?
Yes, the bottom ends are the same.
The CW barrel fits in the P slide as well. Indvidual ones, as any slide to barrel fit, may be ideal or not.
Personally, throw better sights on the CW, stick a fork in it, and call it done. There is ZERO practical difference at all, whatsoever.

That would defiantly be the most affordable way.... Do you know where I can at least see a verity sights other than the available ones from Kahr?
They got some good ones. I personally would like something sort of similar to the BIG dot up front and can live with most any rear, either two dots or the I post or little box around the notch... just something to set it off a bit from blackness.
You might check BROWNELL'S, or just Googlin' CW9 sights

There's tons of options out there. Get a dovetail cut on the front and put anything your heart desires.
Some options are available as is.
